When clients tell me that they want to look at homes for sale in the Saint Streets, this is the map I use to search. This is what I consider to be the “Saint Streets” area. It can vary a street or two this way or that way.
The top left corner that I left out is what we call the “White Subdivision.” It was developed by a Mr. White a little later than the Saint Streets area. Home in the “White Subdivision” are mostly larger, ranch style homes on slab.
In the Saint Streets area, most homes are between 50 and 75 years old and are cottages on piers. The Saint Streets area is not one subdivision but rather a group of small subdivisions: Cornay Addition, Comeaux Place, Souvenir Heights, Broussard Addition, Fairfield, and others. We call it the saint streets because several streets have saints names: St Patrick, St Thomas, St Mary, St Catherine, St Camille, St Micheal, St Louis, etc.
I always have several buyers looking in the Saint Streets at any given point in time. They all have different needs, wants, and budget. If you have been thinking about selling your Saint Streets home, give me a call today or email me. I might have what you are looking for, i.e. a buyer!
If you would like to buy a home in the Saint Streets, contact me today and I will send you available homes and new listings as they hit the market.
