Wonder how the real estate market is doing in Lafayette and Acadiana? It is doing really well these days. Home sales continue to climb as we move towards summer (already!).
While the rise of sales in the spring is somewhat typical, home sales this year surpass that of last year and even 2010. Between January and April this year, 763 homes sold in Lafayette parish compared to 637 for the same period last year and 723 in 2010.
And while home sales are rising steadily, our inventory has remained stable and some would argue on the low side. If you have any questions about the condition of our real estate market, ask me.
