Freezing Rain: A Rare Sight in Lafayette and South Louisiana

This is what it looked like this morning in my back yard in Maurice, LA. I’ve been living here almost 16 years and I’ve probably seen this half a dozen times, if that. Yes, the trees are white because they are covered with ice. Yikes!
