Club Lego en français meets once a month in Lafayette

Keller Williams is a sponsor for the event this year so come by our tent and say hello. I will be around with my daughter.

Also today is the monthly get together of the Club Lego en français. If your child speaks French and loves to play with Lego bricks, you are welcome to join.

This will be our first time for my daughter and I and I’m really looking forward to it. If you would like more information about this event, visit En Français à Lafayette on Facebook or email them here.

Homes for Sale Wanted in the Saint Streets Area in Lafayette

When clients tell me that they want to look at homes for sale in the Saint Streets, this is the map I use to search. This is what I consider to be the “Saint Streets” area. It can vary a street or two this way or that way.

Map of the Saint Streets area in Lafayette, LA

The top left corner that I left out is what we call the “White Subdivision.” It was developed by a Mr. White a little later than the Saint Streets area. Home in the “White Subdivision” are mostly larger, ranch style homes on slab.

In the Saint Streets area, most homes are between 50 and 75 years old and are cottages on piers. The Saint Streets area is not one subdivision but rather a group of small subdivisions: Cornay Addition, Comeaux Place, Souvenir Heights, Broussard Addition, Fairfield, and others. We call it the saint streets because several streets have saints names: St Patrick, St Thomas, St Mary, St Catherine, St Camille, St Micheal, St Louis, etc.

The Saint Street area in Lafayette is mostly small cottages

I always have several buyers looking in the Saint Streets at any given point in time. They all have different needs, wants, and budget. If you have been thinking about selling your Saint Streets home, give me a call today or email me. I might have what you are looking for, i.e. a buyer!

If you would like to buy a home in the Saint Streets, contact me today and I will send you available homes and new listings as they hit the market.
