Do you have plans for Halloween weekend? How about two days of music, camping, and great Cajun food?
The 2015 annual South Louisiana Blackpot Festival & Cookoff will be held in Vermilionville Friday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31. At the festival you’ll have the opportunity to sample Acadiana’s best dishes–gravies, gumbo, cracklins, jambalaya, and various desserts–all prepared by some of Acadiana’s best cooks.
The festival will also feature live music performances by local artists such as The Pine Leaf Boys, Corey Ledel, The Revelers, and so much more!
To get the most out of your experience, bring your camping gear and pitch a tent right on the festival grounds. This is the perfect time to have a campfire in the chilly fall weather and tell some scary Halloween stories!
