Rhythms on the River in River Ranch and Downtown this Weekend!

Rhythms on the River in River Ranch, Lafayette, LAI was only going to post tomorrow about some of the happenings downtown this weekend but then wanted to remind everyone about Rhythms on the River starting its fall season tonight with Rebirth Brass Band. This is now a tradition in River Ranch (Town Square) where one can enjoy food, drinks, music, and great company. Tonight from 5:30 to 8:30 in River Ranch!

Tomorrow, Les Frères Michot will be playing at Parc Sans Souci for Bach lunch, a free event sponsored by the Lafayette Science Museum. Bach Lunch is a free lunch hour series featuring different musicians performing from noon to 1 p.m. during the spring and fall. The restaurants featured tomorrow are Chris’ Po-Boys and iMonelli’s. Yum!!

Tomorrow night is of course Downtown Alive! also downtown in Parc International. The music will be provided by 5th Avenue and it will be a Ragin’ Cajuns kind of night (5:30 to 8:30).

And Saturday, it is the 2012 Edition of the Latin Music festival in Parc International. There will be a variety of artists, food, arts and crafts, and family fun. From noon to 10pm Saturday and free to attend.

I’m sure there’s lots more going on! Have fun!

Commercial Space for Sale or Lease in Youngsville, LA

We just listed a commercial building right in the middle of Youngsville at 204 Church Street (across from the church). The building was recently used as a salon and spa and would make a great retail space or offices.

Commercial property in Youngsville for sale or lease

The property features a reception area and a large common area with three more spacious private rooms, a full bath, a half bath, and a small kitchen.

Above is one of the private rooms of the building and below is the large common area between the reception and the other 3 rooms.

I can’t help but think that this space would also make a great flea market with room for several merchant booths. This property is for sale or for lease, and the owner would entertain a lease purchase as well. What do you have to loose? Come view this wonderful space today; you’ll want to make it yours!
