JULY 3rd in Sugar Mill Pond, Youngsville, LA
You can get a head start on your 4th of July party Tuesday, July 3rd, in Sugar Mill Pond with their Annual Independence Day Celebration. There will be face painting, pony rides, live music, hot air balloon rides and fireworks at 9 p.m. Fun for the whole family!
Red, White, and Boom: Park International and downtown Lafayette, July 4th, park opens at 5pm
The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra will be there again and this year and the concert will feature Grammy nominee Marcia Ball, the “Bayou Queen of the Piano.” There will also be activities in Parc Sans Souci where the Acadiana Symphony is hosting the Conservatory KidZone filled with water slides, face painting, arts and crafts, balloon animals, costume contests, and more. And in Parc Putnam, local bands will be celebrating with “Freedom Fest”.

Le Quatre de Juillet in Erath
In the small town of Erath, located about 30 minutes south of Lafayette, there is always a big celebration for the 4th of July. This year is the 66th edition of “Le Quatre de Juillet” in Erath and it is going on now.
There are eating contests, water fights, music, pageants, carnival rides, food and a large fireworks display on July 4th.

St. Martinville’s 4th of July Celebration
Festivities will begin at 10am July 4th in St. Martinville. There will be a children’s Patriotic Pageant at 10 a.m., Patriotic Bicycle contest at 5 p.m., music provided at by a DJ, followed by a live performance at 6 p.m. by Matt Castille, food and arts and craft booths from 10 a.m. until dusk, storefront Patriotic contest and, of course, fireworks.
